Amidala & Parcialmente Nublado

Amidala & Parcialmente Nublado

Strident Argentinian collaboration between  shoegaze grunge group “Amidala” and midwest emo grunge group “Parcialmente Nublado.”

Both groups make this EP a match made in heaven, the very best flavors rock has to offer in an emotional EP.

Gnarly guitar tones, filthy drum fills, and easy melodies that land on both feet. Post-rock, math rock, shoegaze, and midwestern emo with Spanish lyrics sound like an action-packed turbo cocktail recipe bound to explode. Yet it manages to count on the more grounded elements of each genre, creating delirious and enchanting trances that are highly harmonic and conductive.

The band chemistry and sonic architecture are undeniable, with a high replay value.

This poly-genre record is a perfect winter EP. (However, don’t forget it is summer in the southern hemisphere).

Killer tracks like 15 MIL and Te de H remain our favorites; however, all 4 are a must, and you should be injecting them into your bloodstream all weekend.

Much love and support goes to both bands; this is a very inspiring record and reminds us that Argentina and rock will always go hand in hand.
