There is drive, pain, and rage that is unsheathed over and over which remains accessible through the inviting melodic aspect of the project.
Tints of shoegaze in both the vocal processing and dynamic on the softer sections make “La Melancolia...” a rich pot of noisy genres in a beautiful whirlwind.
Stand out tracks are “Myel?…” with astonishing vocals, arrangement as well as “Zaboomafoo” with the drums stealing the show and giving us an absolute standout groove mayhem.
