“Hogar” is a tremolo arm distortion dream record, a nostalgic EP that feels like warm rain lit by sunshine. Moody with happy undertones, this is a tasty a three-piece EP with heavy yet harmonic first properties that set the tone for the “peaceful lightning” experience this EP becomes as you journey through it.
Juanbru’s guitar tone feels warm and dynamic, landing strong on top of a half-tempo march that strums along the cloud-like soundscape of “Hogar.”
You can tell there is love and understanding of the genre from the first minute of the record, a promise even, resulting in a steady and relentless cloud of distortion that rages in search of beauty.
“Templo” is our standout track, due to the drive and mystique in the chords; however, all three tracks are a must listen and a solid recommendation from the crew.
As a fun fact, Juan Bruno happens to also play in Amidala, another of our favorite Argentinian bands we’ve covered in the blog.
A pretty solid way to start the year.
