Minneapolis hits hard with a powerful, loud, and soft EP called End. It rings with long, playful, and nostalgic guitar riffs that bring forth additional dimensions to their nuanced work.

Their sound design is well crafted and lands really well with their distorted harmonic rhythm chord progression, in tandem with a deeper pull that can be felt at times when the FX is stripped down.

There is a great balance between the dynamics of this EP; it plays both its strengths really well, adorned by a tasteful vocal delivery, very in tune with the genre.

Which can be heard in standout tracks like “End” and “Paper.” However, the whole EP is a worthwhile 13-minute trip of beautiful distortion. The band provides a delightful amount of layers, dense saturation, and balanced guitars that pull and shift in hypnotic chord loops.

At points reminiscent of riffs & dynamics like The Smashing Pumpkins and the harmonic softness of Duster. Yet, it draws originality from their lyrical themes and vocal delivery.

As far as we are concerned, this is the best new band in Minneapolis.
