Actor Material was a world-renown rock band from Peru formed in 1979. Their unique blend of rock, funk, and psychedelia earned them a massive following across Bolivia, Japan, Ghana and USA. They've often been hailed by Billy Corgan and Frank Zappa as "The unsung inventors of the 90's Sound". All trace of their music was lost in a tragic accident caused by a power surge in the year 2000, followed by an onslaught of Pop-Punk bands stealing their songs. Years of litigation were swept under the rug due to the band's inability to pay the legal fees. Nevertheless, in the darkest corner of Sony's headquarters mailroom, an intern discovered and remastered the last remaining copy of Actor Material's second compilation album "Grandes Éxitos Vol. 2" originally released in 1989. Henceforth, unleashing once more the songs that became the backbone of modern music.
